Find options that fit your week

Internships aren't all full-time. You may find part-time, remote, on-site and project-based roles, though what's available depends on your field and city. Before you search, work out how many hours you can really give each week, and note any exam dates. It's easier to discuss your availability at the start than to change it after you've joined.

Where to look for current openings

Openings change quickly, so go straight to the source and check that each role is still open.

Company careers pages are also worth checking, as some employers post internships only there. Your college placement cell and seniors may know about openings too.

How to compare your options

Look at the whole offer

A higher stipend isn't always the better choice. Compare what you'll learn, who will supervise you, your likely costs and how long the role lasts. Our stipend guide shows how to judge an offer, using AI roles as an example.

Questions to ask before you accept

  • What will I work on during my first month?
  • What are the hours, and are they flexible during exams?
  • What is the stipend, and when is it paid?
  • Will I get a certificate or an offer letter?

How to apply efficiently

  1. Choose a few role types instead of applying for everything.
  2. Change the top of your resume to match each listing.
  3. Add a short message explaining why you chose that company.
  4. Keep a simple list of where you applied, and follow up politely after about a week.

Our resume guide and interview guide cover each step.

Common questions

Do I have to pay to get an internship?

A genuine internship shouldn't ask you to pay a registration, training or security fee to get it. Treat any such request as a warning sign, and read our scam guide.

Can I apply through this page?

No. We don't accept applications or pass your details to employers. Always apply through the employer or official portal.

Are the openings guaranteed to be available?

No. Openings, stipends and eligibility rules change, and we can't guarantee any role or result. Check the current details on the source website.

What if I have no experience?

Many internships are designed for learners, but requirements vary. College projects, volunteering and activities can all help. Our resume guide shows how to present them.

How do I know whether an offer is real?

Find the company's website yourself, check that the email domain matches, and contact the company through its official details. Don't share an OTP or banking details.
